Tee has safety checks to help protect users. If those checks raise a concern, Tee may temporarily pause access or cancel a subscription so the user can be directed to the right level of support.
If Tee detects a moment of crisis, it may temporarily pause access and provide crisis support resources.
In some cases, it'll cancel the subscription, refund the remaining value of the subscription period, and refer you to crisis support.
Tee is designed for users 18 and older. If it detects that a user might be under 18, it'll cancel the subscription, refund the remaining value of the subscription period.

If Tee detects that a user would benefit from care from a licensed therapy or psychiatry provider (rather than an AI mental wellness guide), Tee may cancel the subscription, refund any unused time, and refer the user to Talkspace to connect with a licensed provider.
